This artwork by Hendrik Pieter Koekkoek achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in October 2012. In the Dekorative Kunst auction, the work Winterabend am Waldrand sold for EUR 3,096.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hendrik Pieter Koekkoek - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elegant ladies strolling in the country, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 12,000.00.
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hendrik Pieter Koekkoek erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dekorative Kunst wurde die Arbeit Winterabend am Waldrand für EUR 3.096,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Pieter Koekkoek mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elegant ladies strolling in the country beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 12.000,00 versteigert wurde.
