The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,738.48) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hendrik Pieter Koekkoek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elegant ladies strolling in the country in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 12,000.00.

Die Arbeit Figures On A Forest Path von Hendrik Pieter Koekkoek kam im April 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.738,48) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrik Pieter Koekkoek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elegant ladies strolling in the country im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.000,00.
