A top price for Hendrik Kerstens
In April 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs Including Property Sold to Benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which included the work Napkin, February, 2009 by Hendrik Kerstens. The »bidding war« ended at USD 35,000.00 (€ 32,124.83), 17% above the upper estimate. With this result, Napkin, February, 2009 is even the most expensive work of art by Hendrik Kerstens that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Hendrik Kerstens
Im April 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs Including Property Sold to Benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit Napkin, February, 2009 von Hendrik Kerstens zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 32.124,83) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Napkin, February, 2009 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hendrik Kerstens, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
