Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Jan Wolter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of the river Amstel in winter, seen from the artist's studio, Amsterdam in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 145,000.00.
