In the Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) auction, the work Entering the harbour sold for EUR 11,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Jan Wolter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of the river Amstel in winter, seen from the artist's studio, Amsterdam in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 145,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hendrik Jan Wolter erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) wurde die Arbeit Entering the harbour für EUR 11.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Jan Wolter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of the river Amstel in winter, seen from the artist's studio, Amsterdam im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 145.000,00.
