Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction Fine Art, which included the work Diana und Aktäon. by Hendrik van Balen I. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 15,180.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik van Balen I achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Preaching of Saint John the Baptist in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 224,243.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion Fine Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Diana und Aktäon. von Hendrik van Balen I zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 15.180,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrik van Balen I erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Preaching of Saint John the Baptist im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 224.243,98).
