Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #70 by Hellen van Meene was auctioned at Phillips in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,370.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hellen van Meene - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,453.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #70 von Hellen van Meene kam im Juni 2008 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.370,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hellen van Meene mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selected Images beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.453,60) versteigert wurde.
