This artwork by Helen Beard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2021. In the First Open auction, the work Study For Illicit Kisses sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,644.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helen Beard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wear Me, which sold at auction in December 2021 for USD 44,100.00 (€ 38,964.48).

Für andere Arbeiten von Helen Beard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wear Me beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für USD 44.100,00 (€ 38.964,48) versteigert wurde.
