Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study For Bonita by Helen Beard was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,156.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Helen Beard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wear Me in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 38,964.48).

Die Arbeit Study For Bonita von Helen Beard wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.156,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Beard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wear Me im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 38.964,48).
