Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Nordisches Märchen (Nordic fairy tale) by Heinz Hajek-Halke was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,829.16). Admittedly, works by Heinz Hajek-Halke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Erotik - ganz gross!, 1928-1932 in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,706.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Nordisches Märchen (Nordic fairy tale) von Heinz Hajek-Halke im Oktober 2017 bei Phillips in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.829,16) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Heinz Hajek-Halke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Erotik - ganz gross!, 1928-1932 im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.706,29).
