Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wine Bottle, Water Glass, and Apple by Heinrich Kühn was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,772.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heinrich Kühn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landschaft mit Linden. in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 125,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wine Bottle, Water Glass, and Apple von Heinrich Kühn kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.772,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Heinrich Kühn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landschaft mit Linden. im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 125.000,00.
