In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III, which included the work Portrait Of Friedrich Wilhelm, Prince Zu Hohenlohe-Kirchberg (1732-1796), Circa 1790 by Heinrich Friedrich Füger. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,864.12), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heinrich Friedrich Füger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jupiter in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 182,979.20).
