Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1790 by Heinrich Friedrich Füger was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,136.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heinrich Friedrich Füger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jupiter in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 182,979.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1790 von Heinrich Friedrich Füger kam im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.136,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Heinrich Friedrich Füger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jupiter im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 182.979,20).
