Upper estimate price exceeded by 26 %.
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work 200G Gold, 62G Protein by He Xiangyu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 504,000.00 (€ 55,822.10), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Xiangyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sorry, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 200G Gold, 62G Protein von He Xiangyu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 55.822,10) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von He Xiangyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sorry beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 144.000,00 (€ 147.052,17) versteigert wurde.
