Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by He Weipu. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,227.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by He Weipu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work LANDSCAPES AFTER YUAN AND MING MASTERS in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,930.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von He Weipu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.227,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Weipu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit LANDSCAPES AFTER YUAN AND MING MASTERS im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.930,36).
