Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Couplet In Running Script by He Weipu. The price achieved of HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,618.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Weipu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work LANDSCAPES AFTER YUAN AND MING MASTERS in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,930.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script von He Weipu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.618,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Weipu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit LANDSCAPES AFTER YUAN AND MING MASTERS im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.930,36).
