A top price for He Weipu - as previously expected
In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work LANDSCAPES AFTER YUAN AND MING MASTERS by He Weipu. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,930.36), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, LANDSCAPES AFTER YUAN AND MING MASTERS is the most expensive artwork by He Weipu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit LANDSCAPES AFTER YUAN AND MING MASTERS von He Weipu zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.930,36) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist LANDSCAPES AFTER YUAN AND MING MASTERS das teuerste Kunstwerk von He Weipu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
