Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Returning From The River by He Huaishou. The price achieved of HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,349.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Huaishou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Of Illusion in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Returning From The River von He Huaishou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.349,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Huaishou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Of Illusion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90).
