Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Forest by He Huaishou was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 31,250.00 (€ 3,423.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Huaishou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Of Illusion in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn Forest von He Huaishou kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 31.250,00 (€ 3.423,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Huaishou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Of Illusion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90).
