Upper estimate price exceeded by 98 %.
This artwork by He Baili achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Lush Mountains in Mist sold for HKD 138,600.00 (€ 16,757.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Baili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dreaming of the River Valley in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 305,772.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von He Baili erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lush Mountains in Mist für HKD 138.600,00 (€ 16.757,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Baili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dreaming of the River Valley im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 305.772,13).
