Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Lotus by He Baili. It changed hands for a price of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 5,074.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Baili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dreaming of the River Valley in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 305,772.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus von He Baili zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 5.074,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Baili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dreaming of the River Valley im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 305.772,13).
