The work Limpid Spring by He Baili was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,196.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Baili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dreaming of the River Valley in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 305,772.13).

Die Arbeit Limpid Spring von He Baili wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.196,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Baili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dreaming of the River Valley im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 305.772,13).
