Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Flowers And Fruits by He Baili. It changed hands for a price of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 12,815.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 85,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Baili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dreaming of the River Valley in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 305,772.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits von He Baili zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 12.815,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 85.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Baili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dreaming of the River Valley im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 305.772,13).
