Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Tattered Edgings, 2008 by Håvard Homstvedt for USD 625.00 (€ 537.77). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Håvard Homstvedt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feeling Man/Diamonds in March 2010 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,862.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tattered Edgings, 2008 von Håvard Homstvedt für USD 625,00 (€ 537,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Håvard Homstvedt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Feeling Man/Diamonds im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.862,19).
