Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 20 Bleistiftlinien 10H-8B by Hartmut Böhm was auctioned at Lempertz in Brussels in December 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,240.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hartmut Böhm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Raumstruktur in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 20 Bleistiftlinien 10H-8B von Hartmut Böhm im Dezember 2019 bei Lempertz in Brüssel versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.240,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hartmut Böhm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Raumstruktur im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
