Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work He Loves Me by Harry Roseland for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,703.46). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Roseland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Beach At Coney Island in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 95,518.78).
