In the 19th Century American Art auction, the work The Dull Sermon sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,263.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Harry Roseland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Beach At Coney Island in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 95,518.78).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Harry Roseland erzielte im Januar letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century American Art wurde die Arbeit The Dull Sermon für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.263,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harry Roseland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Beach At Coney Island im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 134.500,00 (€ 95.518,78).
