In May 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Sporting and Marine Art, which included the work Comte Frederic Lagrange'S Black Prince With Quinton Up, At Chantilly by Harry Hall. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,019.82), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harry Hall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fisherman with jockey up attended by a groom on a race course, which sold at auction in May 2005 for GBP 42,000.00 (€ 62,005.18).

Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Sporting and Marine Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Comte Frederic Lagrange'S Black Prince With Quinton Up, At Chantilly von Harry Hall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.019,82) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Harry Hall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fisherman with jockey up attended by a groom on a race course beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für GBP 42.000,00 (€ 62.005,18) versteigert wurde.
