Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning calm by Harry Goodwin was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2002. The price achieved of GBP 470.00 (€ 768.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Goodwin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work All Saints Church and the Bishop's Palace on the Medway, Maidstone in January 2005 with an auction result of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,534.06).
