Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Harry Goodwin could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work British A View Of Florence changed hands for GBP 688.00 (€ 876.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Goodwin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work All Saints Church and the Bishop's Palace on the Medway, Maidstone in January 2005 with an auction result of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,534.06).

In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wechselte die Arbeit British A View Of Florence für GBP 688,00 (€ 876,95) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harry Goodwin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit All Saints Church and the Bishop's Palace on the Medway, Maidstone im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.534,06).
