Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Harry Goodwin could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British & Continental Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Ely Cathedral changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 538.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Goodwin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work All Saints Church and the Bishop's Palace on the Medway, Maidstone in January 2005 with an auction result of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,534.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Harry Goodwin konnte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British & Continental Watercolours and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit Ely Cathedral für GBP 375,00 (€ 538,52) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harry Goodwin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit All Saints Church and the Bishop's Palace on the Medway, Maidstone im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.534,06).
