Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Harry B. Lachman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July this year. In the Home & Interiors auction, the work L'Indre Touraine sold for USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,323.05) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harry B. Lachman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paris from St. Cloud, which sold at auction in February 2002 for USD 6,462.50 (€ 7,464.19).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Harry B. Lachman erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Home & Interiors wurde die Arbeit L'Indre Touraine für USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.323,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Harry B. Lachman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paris from St. Cloud beobachtet, die im Februar 2002 für USD 6.462,50 (€ 7.464,19) versteigert wurde.
