In May 2000 Christies in London held the auction SPORTING ART, which included the work Polo Ponies by Harold Septimus Power. The price achieved of GBP 15,275.00 (€ 24,510.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Harold Septimus Power have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November this year the work Portrait of a Young Woman with Two Spaniels was auctioned for AUD 51,660.00 (€ 31,323.73).
