Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Huntsmen and hounds on a heather moor by Harold Septimus Power was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,314.11). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harold Septimus Power - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a Young Woman with Two Spaniels, which sold at auction in November this year for AUD 51,660.00 (€ 31,323.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Huntsmen and hounds on a heather moor von Harold Septimus Power kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.314,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Harold Septimus Power mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a Young Woman with Two Spaniels beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für AUD 51.660,00 (€ 31.323,73) versteigert wurde.
