Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,369.93). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harold Septimus Power - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a Young Woman with Two Spaniels, which sold at auction in November this year for AUD 51,660.00 (€ 31,323.73).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.369,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Harold Septimus Power mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a Young Woman with Two Spaniels beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für AUD 51.660,00 (€ 31.323,73) versteigert wurde.
