Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work In The Garden, Summer by Harold Knight was sold in the Victorian, British and Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in November 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,554.70). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Knight achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Florence in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 458,500.00 (€ 544,797.19).

Die Arbeit In The Garden, Summer von Harold Knight wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Victorian, British and Impressionist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.554,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Knight erzielen.
