In January 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings Part II, which included the work A Village Wedding by Harold Knight. The »bidding war« ended at USD 100,800.00 (€ 83,065.51), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Harold Knight have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Florence in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 458,500.00 (€ 544,797.19).

Im Januar 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Village Wedding von Harold Knight zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 83.065,51) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harold Knight auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Florence im Juli 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 458.500,00 (€ 544.797,19).
