Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Daffodils by Harold Charles Francis Harvey was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,385.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harold Charles Francis Harvey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work British girl With A Red Hat, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 86,500.00 (€ 66,354.71).
