Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2016 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work Building a hayrick by Harold Charles Francis Harvey. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,941.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Charles Francis Harvey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British girl With A Red Hat in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 66,354.71).

Im Juli 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Building a hayrick von Harold Charles Francis Harvey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.941,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Charles Francis Harvey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British girl With A Red Hat im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 66.354,71).
