Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Carte Du Ciel - Mysterieux, 1962 by Harold Chapman for GBP 956.25 (€ 1,087.92). This price was achieved in the auction British. Cool. at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Harold Chapman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Group Of Views Of The King'S Road, London, 1960S in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,765.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Carte Du Ciel - Mysterieux, 1962 von Harold Chapman für GBP 956,25 (€ 1.087,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British. Cool. bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harold Chapman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Group Of Views Of The King'S Road, London, 1960S im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.250,00 (€ 8.765,79).
