Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Under The Tree by Harm Kamerlingh Onnes was sold in the Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harm Kamerlingh Onnes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wachten voor het loket in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Under The Tree von Harm Kamerlingh Onnes wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harm Kamerlingh Onnes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wachten voor het loket im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
