Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Four figures by Harm Kamerlingh Onnes for EUR 375.00. This price was achieved in the auction The former Kamerbeek Collection at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harm Kamerlingh Onnes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wachten voor het loket in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Four figures von Harm Kamerlingh Onnes für EUR 375,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The former Kamerbeek Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harm Kamerlingh Onnes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wachten voor het loket im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
