Die Arbeit Two Flowerpots (Recto); A Sketch Of A Bird (Verso) von Harm Kamerlingh Onnes wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harm Kamerlingh Onnes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wachten voor het loket im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
