Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Still life with vase by Harald Giersing. The price achieved of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 455.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harald Giersing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Mandolinspillerske” (Mandolin Player), 1920 in June this year with an auction result of DKK 120,000.00 (€ 16,109.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with vase von Harald Giersing zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 455,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harald Giersing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Mandolinspillerske” (Mandolin Player), 1920 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 120.000,00 (€ 16.109,89).
