Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait by Harald Giersing for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 267.98). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harald Giersing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Mandolinspillerske” (Mandolin Player), 1920 in June this year with an auction result of DKK 120,000.00 (€ 16,109.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait von Harald Giersing für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 267,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harald Giersing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Mandolinspillerske” (Mandolin Player), 1920 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 120.000,00 (€ 16.109,89).
