This work of art by Harald Frederick Foss could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Coastal scenery with a dinghy on the shore changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harald Frederick Foss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View from the Dunes in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 3,346.00 (€ 3,386.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Harald Frederick Foss konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Coastal scenery with a dinghy on the shore für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harald Frederick Foss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A View from the Dunes im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.346,00 (€ 3.386,30).
