Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape with a riverside by Harald Frederick Foss for DKK 750.00 (€ 655.48). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Harald Frederick Foss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View from the Dunes in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 3,346.00 (€ 3,386.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape with a riverside von Harald Frederick Foss für DKK 750,00 (€ 655,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harald Frederick Foss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View from the Dunes im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.346,00 (€ 3.386,30).
