The work Heather landscape with a resting shepherd by Harald Frederick Foss was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 4,600.00 (€ 616.96), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Harald Frederick Foss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View from the Dunes in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 3,346.00 (€ 3,386.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Heather landscape with a resting shepherd von Harald Frederick Foss wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 4.600,00 (€ 616,96) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harald Frederick Foss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View from the Dunes im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.346,00 (€ 3.386,30).
