Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life with apples and teapot by Haralambos Potamianos was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2011. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,417.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Haralambos Potamianos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mother And Child in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,488.22).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.417,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Haralambos Potamianos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mother And Child im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.488,22).
