A top price for Haralambos Potamianos - as previously expected
In May 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Mother And Child by Haralambos Potamianos. The price achieved of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,488.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mother And Child is the most expensive artwork by Haralambos Potamianos that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother And Child von Haralambos Potamianos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.488,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mother And Child das teuerste Kunstwerk von Haralambos Potamianos, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
